I am supportive of police when they act within their rights as law enforcement officers, but what law are they enforcing here? No law was broken, and the police had absolutely no right to accost this man, let alone arrest him! It is this kind of behavior and mindset that needs to change in this country. It is disgusting that this happens. Most cops are good, but the bad ones need to be held accountable for their actions, just like any other person. They CAN do their jobs and have accountability and consequences for violating the law. It IS possible. We need to stand up, stand with the good officers, and support them, AND call out and hold accountable those officers who believe that their badge gives them a free pass to do whatever they want with no consequences.
