I am sure glad I was straightened out by Facebook today. I had some Browns fans tell me in no uncertain terms that any critical comments or wisecracks about the Browns will NOT be tolerated now that they have a coach. Now, Im praying that this hire works out and we finally get a decent coach and they leave him alone to work, but come on guys, you cant possibly come at people like that, just because they hired somebody, right? I got everything from Haslam is the most aggressive owner in the NFL, we should be glad he made this move, nobody wants your season ticket money if youre not all in on this team, this team doesnt need you, etc... So really, its wrong to have problems with the team, and still call yourself a fan? Seems to me, when you have the record they do since 1999, you dont get to have your cake and eat it to. Go Browns, and for Gods sake, hopefully Pettine is a beast, but ppl amaze me sometimes. My rule going forward, Pettine gets a clean slate, as every new hire does, lets see what he does with it. Joe Banner is a smug, terrible little man who cant lose his job soon enough, and this front office has to earn its credibility back. Not the team, but this front office, absolutely hasnt earned anything as far as the fans respect. Go get self righteous on your facebook page all you want, but lets keep it real. Thats said, #GOBROWNS!
