I am sure that each and everyone of us belong to one faith or the other. This has nothing to do with our political orientation or ideology. It is not a crime if you do not know what Sharia is all about, but it is also not appropriate to pass judgement on what you do not know. For clarification, Sharia is a body of laws as contained in the holy books...old testament, the psalms, the Quran. etc as revealed to Moses, David, Jesus Christ , Muhammad. . I have not seen any documented evidence where Buhari asked everybody in Nigeria to subscribe to Sharia system of jurisprudence. This is just not possible. Just as Muslims are in the majority in the North, Christians are in the majority in the North, it is also not possible for Christians to force everybody to subscribe to canonical laws, even in southern Nigeria. Most of the time, we waste precious energy on things that do not matter, instead of seeking clarification of things that we do not understand. If the term Sharia is replaced by a familiar word in the Bible, i am sure that Muslims will also shout, while Christians will be happy to pursue its acceptance to a logical conclusion. I do not believe that aspirants to political offices should be hounded for reasons of professing to one faith or the other. God knows why he created everything in divers colours and characters, even Nigeria and its inhabitants are in divers colours and characters, we just have to make the best out of our situation. Message of hate and willful distortion of facts for political gains will not lead us to anywhere. God Bless Nigeria!!! #NigeriaDiFure
