I am sure that many of you will understand when I say sometimes we just get so busy that we forget the important people that make things happen in our lives. I volunteered to take over this Facebook page five years ago when I first started volunteering with Pet Helpers. The page only had 237 likes on the page and not much activity. I started a daily regime of posting our animals up for adoption, events, educational articles, lost/found pets and anything that pertained to animal rescue that I thought would be of interest to people. Within a few months I had to ask another volunteer to assist with the page because we were up over 2 thousand likes. Today I looked at the number of Likes on the page, the number of people our posts reach and I am so amazed, as I am everyday when I log on to the page. We are now over 27 thousand likes, our post reach over 2+ million people a week, we are in 20 different countries and 10 different languages. To me this is just incredible. It now takes 5 to 6 volunteers to keep this main page going everyday, we have branched the page out to Lost and Found, Courtesy Posts, Photo Album, etc. All of these are under the Like by this Page section. The most important part of this post is to thank everyone of our fans on this page for your continued support of the Pet Helpers rescue. With your donations, alerts, adoptions, joining us to foster and helping us find lost Pet Helpers rescues we continue to go forward. Without all of you, we could not have grown from having 10 foster dogs/cats in 2009 to over 100 foster dogs/cats today in our care. All of the volunteers of the Pet Helpers group want to send out a very big heartwarming SHOUT OUT to each and everyone of you for all the work you do behind the scenes that no one sees. The sharing of posts, the referrals to adopt one of our rescues, supporting our fundraisers and so much more. Without you.....we would not be where we are today.
