I am sure that over my childhood years, many people tried to reason with me to make me behave well and to be a better person. Somewhere along the line, that must have happened, I guess. About 45 years ago, on a Wednesday morning, it was raining, I was wearing a red, whit and blue striped shirt. Mrs Straw (my first grade teacher) marched my butt into Mr.Givens (the principal) office. She explained that I was out of control and had bitten another student. Mr Givens paddled my @ss and told me it was wrong to bite other kids, why it was wrong and to never do that again. He gave me 10 minutes to compose myself, and had the school nurse walk me back to class. I never bit another kid. Just saying............
