I am surrounded by luxury and opulence and I revel the opportunity I have been afforded. But rather that relax into what should be a once in lifetime experience, I cannot let go of some nagging questions. How many of the people who wait on me day and night live in poverty? How many people could we feed with the leftovers from the hotel restaurant. The window of my room overlooks corporate buildings and hovels that stand side by side like some cruel capitalist joke. I am the product of a fortunate birth and it saddens me.
