I am telling this story for the first time. While living - TopicsExpress

I am telling this story for the first time. While living in Grahamstown.... I dated a South African girl in order to get a S.A passport... Kyana had no clue. She felt I really loved her and wanted to marry her. Anyway, seeing that Ugandan men had a bad rap in that particular part of SA I lied to her that I was from ANGOLA. One day madam comes home and tells me that she had just met another S.A lady who was dating an ANGOLAN and we must all have dinner together. I was perplexed, and wondered how id get out of this spot. I postponed and postponed until I could do so no more. When the dinner day came, The other South African chic in with her ANGOLAN boy and they all sat at the table. I was very quiet. The two South African girls wanting their boos to mingle, being from the same homeland, asked us to speak to each other. Hey! Its not every day you meet people from home.! they admonished. I being of great savvy, decided that I would just speak LUGANDA, and the guy would probably assume I am from another part of ANGOLA where they spoke a different language. So looking across the table I said: Mwana nze banzalira wali mu CITY ekampala.... oli waa wa gwe? The fellow looked up at me . His eyes lit up as he said: Chali wange.... nze nange ndi wa Kampala boyi..... ono ddemu story kki?! Credit: Harry Sagara
