I am thankful I have enough to eat. I am thankful my kids have enough to eat. I am thankful to live in a country where the hunger issue is not a matter of life and death but of quality of life and health. In much of the world this is not the case. I am also thankful for organizations that work diligently to try to make the US hunger reality become the reality world wide. (Like Outreach, Inc. ) There is more than enough food in this world for us all. It is unacceptable that there are still people dying from hunger. I am thankful I get to do my part everyday in a small way to fight food insecurity worldwide. I am thankful for the remarkable people I work with that enable me to do so. And thats a LOT of thanks for today.
