I am thankful for all my Aunts and Uncle who are all gathered here in Salley; South Carolina. Next week I will visit Allen University and Benedict College in Columbia. My mom attended and graduated from Allen. Half my Aunts went to Benedict. I am also excited to visit our family cemetery next week; where my maternal great great grandparents; great grandparents and grandparents are buried. Additionally I have 2 Uncles and several cousins also buried there. There is so much history in thus town about my family even thise uh-huh white cousins from across the railroad tracks. Next year I hope some of my 1st cousins come as I am the only one who is under 50; but I am learning a lot from them. Next year Leslie and I are trying to connect with our fathers side of the family in Henderson, North Carolina in July. #knowledgeofyourhistory #DunbarWalkerFamily #SalleySouthCarolina
