I am thankful for my life, even as tuff as it has been at times. When I pulled into the neighborhood I grew up late Friday night it was just like coming home. When you make the first turn into the neighborhood and the trees wrap around you like a warm welcome home blanket that just came out of the dryer. Its so so calming. After the long trip down I was stressed about what we had to get done for the weekend. But some how I knew it would all work out. And it did. Driving into The Place Sunday with a skif of snow everything was so breathe taking. I need a weekend just to enjoy the place and not have to run around trying to get everything done is such a short time. We even got more done than I thought we would and were able to bring the car back. The trailer towed perfectly. No bouncing, swerving or anything. The brakes even all worked. It just needs a little paint (maybe if I have time). Know I can work on it for the next 34 days for the car show and test and tune. Still have to get he new seat belts in and net. Sometimes I wonder if buying The Place was a good idea or if I was bitting off way more than I could chew. I believe in my heart that it was the right thing. We have all enjoyed being there and finding more treasure (or junk to most). Everything I needed to finish the trailer was there. Things are really quite organized once you start working in the shop. Even though it was so cold Saturday, the work we got done and driving the car on Sunday made it all worth it. Thanks Mom and Dad for making a home that I can always go home to. I wish all kids had that. Love you both.
