I am thankful for small favors today...and news you need to know... After a week of working an odd split shift (Ive been on conference calls with Asia from 1:00am to 4:00am Central Time all week, sleeping in the early morning and then going to the office for the afternoon), Ill finally get a normal night of sleep tonight. Yay! King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has finally died, at 90, thereby freeing up countless quantities of Just for Men - Mustache and Beard dye for the rest of us. The European Central Bank has announced their own type of Quantitative easing, in which theyll flood the marketplace with euros.... Thats gotta be good for the pita makers and the lamb and cattle farmers... man, I love euros... especially with fresh sliced tomatoes and onions... The New York state assemblys speaker, Rep Sheldon Silver, did a perp walk today, have been caught allegedly running a corruption operation covering some four million dollars in bribery activity. Imagine, keeping all that cash to himself... Shameful. So that means other previously underbribed state legislators will finally have the opportunity to share in the largess that Silver had been keeping to himself all these years.
