I am thankful that YHWH (God) is so much bigger than our puny little ideas about Him (identifying Him with the male Gender because He chose to use it but recognizing that God is Spirit and has no real gender... and yes Jesus was and is a man)... anyway... I digress... But yes He is alive and well! Take it from a guy who has several degrees in Bible and theology related studies but who is still learning... The great I am is who He is no matter our little opinions of Him. I do not knock other peoples religious traditions so long as they do not conflict with His truth. I thought I would have to defend Christians as a Pastor... I have found myself defending sinners more often... But hey... look at Jesus... maybe I am keeping pretty good company... As for me... the most important part about growing up has been to get myself off of His throne... Every time I have tried to manage anything I have failed miserably. I am not sure why folks still want to try and take Gods job.... so here is to sanity... it is found in surrendering everything to Him... As Carrie Underwood sang, Jesus take the wheel... Not only is He a better driver, but He does not even need the wheel to turn this wreck into a restored classic! I have found that I am the anti religious, pro Jesus, full Gospel... because the Bible is absolutely true Pastor! Get some freedom my fellow Christians... get some freedom... fire yourself as the judge and jury... it is fun... Ok... I will stop now... no I wont... One more thing... for all of you out there that have it all figured out... how is it working out for you? I hear the words of the Apostle Paul ringing in my ears... For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. Ok... now I will stop... maybe... or maybe this from Isaiah 29:14, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. Lord please give me the mind of Christ, the heart of a lion and the faith of a child. Then maybe I will begin to discover what it means to love. And thank you for refusing to give up on me! Be free folks... dont use your freedom as a covering for evil... but be free... its fun... I promise... let it go.... There you go see... you can do it.... Ahhhhhh... isnt that so much better?
