I am thankful to my parents but especially my mother for not allowing the doctors diagnosis to be right and for not giving up on me. And by that I mean that after being diagnosed with Diabetus 45 years ago that I would not live to the age of 27. And that because of her care and dedication that I live a life without any of the expected affects of this disease. Also, that she gave me the ability to be a strong woman when its not politically correct and to not feel badly when speaking my mind. I look forward to many more anniversaries .... Thanks, mom.
