I am the 1st person to rampage about Political Correctness, BUT...there is s difference between Political Correct bullshit and down right disrespect of other human beings! the term Redskins is a racial slur and has been used for a long time to degrade Native Americans. It is no different then calling a black person a Nigger, a Latino a wetback or me a Kraut! What if a team decided to call itself the New York Niggers or the Washington Wetbacks???? It is the same damn thing to call a team Redskins!! Now a name like Chiefs or Braves I see as being more of a name out of respect or honor, as those groups are real titles of honor within those groups. Just like the name Minnesota Vikings i see, as a German, as being a name of honor as the Vikings were respected among the Norse and Germanic peoples of their day. So there is a big difference. I cant believe this man, who I always thought was pretty cool, would say something that racist!
