I am the camera/The camera turns on me. Francisco the videographer tells his story about mixing it up with Salvadorean and American cuisine. My Mixed Up Breakfast By Francisco Aguilar One of my favorite meals from my country, El Salvador, is the traditional breakfast. The typical breakfast comes with fried plantains, eggs, cream, and beans. Also, I like to put some hard cheese with it. It is so delicious, but when I got to the USA, I tried the American breakfast and I liked it also. It is a little different from a Salvadorian breakfast because here you have different things such as sausage and ham, which I like a lot. So now when I cook for my family, I always try and mix it up. I have a little bit of both cultures and they are both delicious. For example, after the plantains, eggs, and beans, I might make hot cakes with fresh fruit like in an American breakfast. My whole family really enjoys that part.
