Below is the final information about the visit of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II to our church on Sunday, September 21st, 2014. The Schedule for service at Archangel Michael Church: 06:00 Church doors open for congregation 06:45 Matins Raising of Incense and Altar Consecration till 3rd Prayer by one of their graces the Bishops accompanying His Holiness. 08:00 His Holiness arrival and procession to the church 08:10 Continuation of the consecration of the Altar and Icons by His Holiness 08:55 Conclusion of the Consecration rituals. At this time Holiness will proceed to St. George & St. Joseph Church while the liturgy continues by one of their graces the Bishops accompanying His Holiness. + Only congregation members holding Blue Tickets will be allowed access to Archangel Michael church. + Entrance to the church will be from the side door regularly used on Sundays. + After the mass is concluded, please proceed to exit orderly. A small breakfast will be served in the parking lot next to the stairs. The Schedule for service at St. George & St. Joseph Church: 06:30 Church doors open for congregation 07:00 Matins Raising of Incense by one of their graces the Bishops accompanying His Holiness. 08:00 Live coverage on church screens for the Consecration Rituals taking place at Archangel Michael church. 09:00 His Holiness arrival and procession to the church 09:10 Offertory and Liturgy of the Word 10:00 Sermon by His Holiness 10:30 Reconciliation prayer and Liturgy of the Faithful 11:15 Holy Communion and conclusion. 12:00 His Holiness greats the congregation. + Only holders of Green tickets will be allowed access to St. George St. Joseph Church. + Entrance to the church will be from the main wooden doors, and access to the basement will be from the main basement doors. +If you arrive before church doors open, please respect the order of arrival of other people until the doors are opened. +You will be seated on a first come first served basis, and servants will be guiding you to your seats. The church will be filled up from the front to the back, followed by the balcony and then the basement. + The basement will be equipped with audio and video capabilities so you can attend the Mass as if you are in the Main Church. Please help maintain a spiritual environment at the basement to serve as an extension of the main church. + Congregation members with kids below 5 years old will be seated in the crying room or in the baptism room. As these rooms are filled in, additional crying room capacity will be made available in Sunday school rooms in the basement. + Seniors with movement difficulty will have designated seating inside the church to the extent possible. + All people attending the Mass including the basement and the balcony will have access to Communion. Please follow guidance of the Order Servants to facilitate the process. + Following the Communion, the congregation attending at the basement, balcony and Main Church will have an opportunity to get a personal blessing and greeting from His Holiness subject to his time and ability to continue. Please follow guidance of the Order servants to facilitate the process. + After the greetings/blessings period, please proceed to exit orderly from the Church. A small breakfast will be served in the parking lot next to the stairs. Parking Information + The Church encourages the congregation to the extent possible to use public transportation (bus or taxi), and to maximize car-pool to come to the Church. + Lower parking at the Church will be available for clergy, handicapped and special needs only, in addition to few early arriving individuals. + 200 parking spots will be available at the upper parking. Access will be granted on first come first served basis. + Additional parking space will be made available to the congregation at College Charlemagne located on Gouin Boulevard in front of Parc Cape-Saint-Jacques.
