I am thinking about Christmas promos and in a further attempt to embrace social media, i thought i would air my thoughts on-line, let me know what you think......? Also Banyuls is a stunning corner of the Roussillon and it is Settles twin town....they might be thinking twice about it if WE dont drink more of their wine. CHAMPAGNE TASTING AT OUR XMAS TASTING WEEKEND 22ND-23RD NOV 4. Lambrusco the next Prosecco? We reckon so but it miles better, traditional Lambrusco is a stunning and very very moresih wine. Forget cheap, forget sweet, forget Lambrini, this is the proper stuff, dry, red, pink or (sort of) white, complex, fresh, balanced, lightly frothy, you must drink it! LAMBRUSCO TASTING - SAT 6TH- SUN 7TH DECEMBER 5. BUON VINO BEAUTIFUL BURGUNDY- IT HAS TO BE FANNY SABRE Burgundy at Xmas is must for some, Fanny Sabres wines are too die for, i will open a few on the weekend of 13th-14th December, they are expensive so a chance to try something truly delicious and maybe find your Christmas day bottle. BURGUNDY TASTING 13TH-14TH DECEMBER 6. THE FATHER OF BIODYNAMICS Weekend of Sat 20th December we will open the 2 vintages of NICOLAS JOLYS mythical wines from the famous COULEE DE SERRANT VINEYARD. These are very expensive and the cost will come from my personal pocket and i will drink what is left on the Saturday night if no one buys any so get down on the Saturday to try it!! Vieux Clos 2012 (new vintage) about £30 Vieux Clos 20...and something, not decdied yet about £35 Coulee de Serrant 2012 (new vintage) about £60 Coulee de Serrant 2009 or 10 about 75 or more!!!
