I am thinking about a trip to Rome and Athens. On the ranch, when I was just fifteen, Louie Miller and I used to talk about Greek and Roman history and he would often bring me books to bring my knowledge to his level. As long as I lived there, he, as owner, never overstepped his appropriate mentor position, for my Father was very full of pride, but he continued to teach and guide my studies. It was much like the adage about teaching a hungry man to fish. He taught me to research and document and plan how to examine and learn about history. Something I have always been thankful to know. And Bill Clinton always taught the importance of life long learning....
