I am thinking aloud as I finalise the terminal requirement for this training - a presentation on "Lessons Learnt and Action Plan" that I shall implement to enhance the TVET system in Zamboanga Sibugay. The day-to-day insights I am currently deriving from this 3-week Leadership Training Programme for selected TESDA Regional & Provincial Directors serve as building blocks of the Coaching, Counselling, & Mentoring Program for TESD Trainers & Assessors in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay that I shall implement and pursue vigorously from July 2013 until June 2016. Adopting the thematic development approach, the CCM Program for TESD Trainers & Assessors shall be implemented within a three-year timeframe, with the following annual themes: Year 1 = July 2013 - June 2014 = Crafting a Holistic & Authentic Curriculum Framework for Competency-Based Training and Assessment in Various TVET Qualifications Year 2 = July 2014 - June 2015 = Developing a Genuine Sense of Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Responsibility, and Effectiveness (I CARE) among TESD Trainers and Competency Assessors Year 3 = July 2015 - June 2016 = Raising the Bar of Passion and Excellence in the Delivery of Competency-Based Trainings and the Conduct of Competency Assessments through the Creation of Opportunities for Authentic Learning (Improvement of Training Facilities & Fostering Closer Links and Stronger Collaboration Between Industry & TVIs).
