I am thinking of a conversation my Mother and I had one day about her connection with the animal world.She says she heard a bird just chirping away and thought it was calling her because a cat was probably bothering it. So she went to the tree beside her front porch where she knew robins had a nest. She saw a baby robin on the ground just chirping away. She picked it up to put it back in the nest when the mother robin started acting as though it was probably going to attack her! So she left it alone. I told her that the mother had probably kicked the baby out because it may have been the last of her babies there and she felt it was past time for it to get its own wings! She went back out a little later and the baby was gone! No sign of foul play. This scenario came to my mind this morning as I sit and wonder about one of my little birdies. It really isnt fair to keep trying to make the birdie see how much I love it and want it to succeed. Like the mama robin, I cant keep expecting the baby birdie see that I give my last because I love it, not for my convenience. I hope she sees that the members of her genetic flock really love her and our feelings count too! May God bless this little birdie though our saviour Jesus Christ!
