I am thrilled to announce that after only 2.5 months in review, Beverly Hills Heritage has received confirmation from the Internal Revenue Service that our organization is officially recognized as a charitable 501(c)(3) tax-exempt private foundation! Besides the fact that this official recognition opens so many doors for us as an organization, this confirmation is a personal triumph for me that is experienced only as pure joy and exhilaration (as evidenced by my jumping up and down, leaping, and fist-pumping my way through the BH Post office hallway on South Beverly). I am really never one to toot my own horn and have a tendency to diminish what I do in my minds eye as purely a labor of love but I have to say today that I am not only proud of this organization but I am proud of myself for having taken on this immense responsibility and seeing it through to this very important milestone. I am grateful to those who lift me up along the way, proving to me that genuine love and friendship truly does exist and that when like-minded people get together, great things can be achieved. Who I have become and what I do would not be possible without with many people I love and trust and I am thankful for them in every waking breath I take.
