I am tired of this overly soft society. JCPS closed school again! Yesterday was not an apocalypse, and today is no problem. We live at the pinnacle of mankinds technology, even the poorest people have cell phones. If you got stuck In Jefferson County there are few places where you are more than a few thousand feet away from a store or other place to ask for help. Yet yesterdays 3 inches of snow shut down another opportunity to teach our children. I have traveled and worked outside in this crap everyday this year and our future is jeopardized because people are too scared and lazy to get out in it. Pathetic. I give up, I am ashamed of this wimpy culture.
