I am totally amazed at the customers at work who have lost a loved one, spouse, or child. Talked to a customer today who lost her husband back in August of last year. She still has days that she does no handle very well. Sometimes the memories just take her away. She said this is normal. Went to the grief meeting Tuesday. Its funny i can talk to a total stranger one on one and can communicate what I am feeling and they can share back. I will give the meeting a second chance. However I do not feel I am a group person; seem to better one on one dealing with the lost of Vicki. Had a doctor appointment yesterday. Doctors said my kidneys are doing well, blood pressure is normal, and heart is doing better. I have been working out every day after work. Doctor said this is good for me. I know I can work out a lot of emotions pushing the weights and running the treadmill. The plus side is I have lost 12 lbs, lost two inches in the waist, and gained about an inch or two in the shoulders and chest. There is not a day I do not think of your mom, and all of you. I really feel good about devoting the time I did the past two years when Vicki really started getting sick. I would not have changed any of the time I spend when Vicki was sick. The sad thing is she kind of left it all up to me to keep care of her and at times refused for me to tell anyone how ill she was. As I just said I would have done it all over again for Vicki. It just really sad she had to go. However I know she is in heaven and I will be with her in sprit when it is my time to leave this world. God bless all of us who knew Vicki.
