I am truly blessed... To have my best friend as my life partner is a beautiful thing... Almost 11 years ago .... I meet a man on MySpace... Yes online ... And he was a very sweet spirit... I wasnt looking for anything or anyone at that point in my life... I was living my life on my terms ... Hanging out with Diana Cazadora Cueztpaliinditaztlan Rumbos an amazing activist and a beautiful spirit that I love dearly and am honored to call family... My Tia or aunty .. And we were marching and protesting ... Speaking out on issues like immigration reform... Racial violence... Hate crimes against natives and immigrants ... Domestic violence... I had survived a very abusive marriage and she along with my Tia Maria Elena .. and my Tia Mary Jane ... Were my rescuers .., in fact I would probably be dead if my family had not intervened and taken me away ... My ex broke my jaw and several of my ribs .. And my aunt Mary Jane was the respiratory therapist at the hospital I was sent to ... You see shame had me hiding my abuse and blaming myself for it for years ... My family was not aware of my situation prior to that day.. And I felt so alone... and they were my healing angels... Sometimes the universe closes many doors in order to allow the lessons to be understood... And I can be very stubborn... Hard headed and ego minded sometimes... As we all can... So back to my Jeff J Lee... We meet people that hold both blessing and lessons for a reason... I am living a life I never imagined 20...30...40 yrs ago ... I am happy... And if I was to die today... My life is a good one...
