I am truly heartbroken over the loss, but even more so, the struggle of one of the most joyous people we have all known. I am thankful for the laughs and light he brought into my life and am beyond saddened that he was feeling so depressed and ultimately desperate. To try to put his darkness into common understanding, is impossible if you are not him. Suicide brings great pain to everyone it effects, but there is no match for the pain one had to feel to do something like this. It is truly the most SELFLESS act one can make. Not by any means to give praise or make this a positive choice, but truly think about this word. Selfless. There is no way to act out of selfishness when you are so low that you literally cannot save your own life. Judging him does nothing and quite frankly brings a lot more guilt and shame to something that needs to be talked about more. Words have power. Saying this was cowardly or selfish (as I have seen a lot of), not only disrespects him, but can put more darkness and fear into others who are experiencing a similar kind of pain. Watching his loved ones and fans speak out has been truly eye opening. How incredibly generous and giving he was, even when he had so little to give of himself. Most people in his state wouldnt get out of bed, let alone give so much joy and energy to the whole world! What a beautiful soul. A struggling soul. My heart goes out to everyone who lost a family member, friend, or beloved part of their life in the loss of such an amazing man and empathetic person. For his families sake I hope that people will be able to give that same empathy to everyone this touches and mostly to Robin. He made this world a better place. Rest in peace and be free. Thank you for the incredible ride!!!
