I am truly humbled and honored...not sure that I am worthy to stand with some who have been nominated before me...A bit of my racing background: former co-owner, semi-mechanic, spotter of a BRMS Pro Stock (piloted by my nephew Ryan Shepard); former pit line up official; on track official, fire/safety official. Former PASS (North & South) pace car driver, flagman & on track safety official. Current Certified NASCAR Trainer for fire, safety, EMS, recovery & restoration. Current Speedway Safety Services Crew Chief, working at NHMS, Star Speedway, etc. Fire/Safety at OPS. I have been fortunate to work fire/safety, EMS, Wrecker, Jet dryer operator, on track safety official: local short tracks, all levels of NASCAR, Indy, and Formula 1. I have been fortunate to work at tracks from Canada to Florida and Maine to Ohio. I love being part of the racing family...Thank you once again...
