I am trying to buy a pair of new shoes. Dress loafers to be worn with suits. Simple, right? Apparently, not. Every brand has some sort of dress loafer some attractive, some not -- each for a price that was at minim, a hundred of dollar in difference in the purchase price. Yet, having tried them both on, they felt more or less the same. Both were made in some Asian country and I guess I am on a rant here -- but we are talking a major difference in dollars and how does one trust a brand anymore? Is the same factory making the same two pairs of shoes? No one is showing me, why I should buy one brand over the other... I feel there is no distinction any more in anything and lately whatever I buy, I feel cheated as a consumer and more and more like I am being ripped off.
