I am trying to decide why this whole registration debacle is making me so ANGRY since I have already registered (and with minimal pain I might add). I think it is because to me, it is a reflection of the level of mediocrity which prevails in this land. We do not strive for perfection, we do not try to do things in a manner that others would want to emulate. We are just prepared to settle. When I do something that does not turn out to be a success I turn it inside out to try to determine why. I am not going to go out there and tell people how great I did when I KNOW that this was not the case. I just think that these people at ABEC are so damn full of themselves and so self righteous that they truly BELIEVE that the process if going well. To the idiot who wrote that press release - YOO HOO - THE EMPEROR IS STARK NEKKID. And this is not about UPP and ABLP - it goes beyond partisan politics because ebry baddy is being affected. I am also irritated when those who carry the banner of the ruling party try to make out that it is all OK and opposition supporters are just trying to make trouble. I am positive that my Prime Minister is as mortified over this as I am. He needs to hold ABEC accountable for this and heads MUST roll. This is about ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA - and the pall which this debacle is placing over the democratic process which we all hold dear. (back to my sick bed AGAIN).
