I am trying to keep track of all this information - thank you for all the posts and communication to the community. Personally I do not want to see a middle school at this location but what is the community OK with? Anything in the plans that is good? I think we all agree change is coming (we have a serious capacity issue county wide) to this area and what are we asking for? As someone who has advocated to the SB for almost two years for other issues I am not sure this approach is 100% correct. Would we rather see an elementary school, a pre-school? As I understand it the building in its current state cannot serve a school of any kind? What can they do with the least overall impact and still serve a student population? What can we do to move this forward in a productive way? Wilson holds 1,300 students - HB has 700 - another program to marry with HB at Wilson? I dont have the perfect answer obviously. I am seeing things like voting against the school bond and voting for Audrey - why cut your nose to spite your face?
