I am trying to live as Permaculture as I can whilst driving around in a van as a means of home and transport. Sometimes I feel guilty about the pollution, and I try and remember the transition ethic and I feel good that although I am using more fuel, I am using much less electricity and water. I am brewing kombucha, made a solar dehydrator to bake in and try to support organic local food growers when I can.. One thing that upsets me is waste. Producing waste on the road is hard to deal with, trying to find appropriate recycling bins and feeling sick if I put a banana peel in the trash rather than turning it into soil- But someone brought to my attention Bottle bricking the other day!! A way to make bricks out of your trash that you can donate to schools and communities that use them to build with!! What a positive solution to my dilemma!
