I am undertaking a Sponsored Weightloss in aid of Alder Hey Childrens Hospital and would appreciate it very much if people would support me in this venture. There are two reasons for this as I desperately need to lose weight for my own well-being and my health. The other reason is very dear to me as two grandchildren and one great-grandchild of one of my dearest friends, have all received treatment at this wonderful hospital. I have spoken to the hospital today and have decided to set myself a time limit on this rather than a weight target, as I feel a time limit is more realistic and would hold peoples interest better so that it doesnt drag on for too long. I have set a time limit for this with agreement from Alder Hey of 6 months, I will be weighed monthly and a record of my progress will be kept. I am now waiting for Alder Hey to send me the relevant information and Sponsorship Forms in the post.
