I am unsure what criteria is used to declare an epidemic. But in the last 6 months, I have had 1 personal friend suffer a traumatic brain injury and a 10-year old boy, just being a kid, at a local rodeo, suffer a traumatic brain injury. I dont know what has to be done to fight this epidemic. No vaccines are available. Prevention lies in education. Elecia went up to a gentleman that had ridden his motorcycle to church without a helmet yesterday morning and encouraged him to wear a helmet.
