I am up late night once again with the pressing homework assignment due again. While Im sitting here from the computer and the house is quiet is nothing but me and the computer, my mind starts to think. I have a lot of educated, intelligent, and intellectual friends Associates colleagues, and coworkers. I know that the vast majority of them consider themselves to be fairly intelligent people. I would like to explore what it is to be intelligent. I know of many educated people who consider themselves intellectuals and intelligent people. I often look at these people and wondered to myselfs how can someone so lacking in knowledge and understanding think of themselves as intelligent intellectuals. Many educated people like to think of themselves as intelligent but they cannot carry a conversation on any intellectual topics other than that which is consistent with the cog career path that theyve been trained into. I often observe people engaged in conversations on topics that they know very little about you will see participants in the conversation posturing for positions of power where they demonstrate their prowess and expertise and in-depth knowledge of the subject. They discuss and debate the subject to demonstrate who has a superior understanding of the top while at the same time that all discussing illusions. Although alternate facts exist on the subject they continue to espouse commentary that is not based in factual reality. People will discuss a topic that has been proven to be otherwise flawed or lacking as if it remains a fact. Intellectuals continue to discuss the same line while intelligent persons will expose the lie and their lack of understanding. this stuck on stupid scenario that many educated people find themselves in, is largely due to fear. Fear of being ostracized, fear of being outside the flock, fear of not being viewed as an accepted member of the intellectual group keeps people from viewing the world as it really is. I like to ask my intelligence intellectual educated friends stop being educated fools who continue to repeat lies and distortions in an effort to make themselves appear intelligent and intellectual. How do we know what we know is true? People are walking around, living in an illusion, believing the lies and propaganda fed to us by the controlled media sources. Although people are well aware of the fact that all of our news comes from five sources who are complicit in controlling that which the public knows to controlled reporting of events, they continue to hold on to the sources as viable sources of truth. I have been called gullible and information that Ive been posting referred to as propaganda. This coming from people who consider themselves intelligence intellectuals. But I ask is that its more gullible to question information to get and seek alternate sources of verification to achieve a greater understanding of the subject or to accept a single source as the complete source of truth of your world? That is what might intelligent and intellectual coworkers colleagues associates and friends seem to think. They think that because they listen to the media read newspapers watch television news they understand current affairs and occurrences completely. They do not seek alternative sources of points of view and blindly accept the single source information that they get from mainstream media. I think thats pretty gullible. Without a complete and thorough investigation into history, one cannot possibly understand current affairs. If you think you are intelligent, engage me on the topics that I post about. Lets have intelligent dialogue about maters of real importance.
