I am very ashamed to admit this, and I mean that sincerely. I have always felt very bad about the way we Europeans treated Australias indigenous people (especially having been born in genocidal Tasmania), but I have only just realised, after some very seemingly minor comment on FB that I never looked at indigenous settlements set up by the white ruling class as semi concentration camps. Now, with added insight of the likes of Manus murder Island and Nauru, I am so ashamed. I cant say more because it would make no difference to any of us sadly.
