I am very curious as to why our Muni staff needs to keep on hiring consultants. I was under the impression that our elected leaders had promised to reduce the use of consultants My opinion is that we have staff that have the education, background, and knowledge to tender a roads project as well as oversee it. Correct me if I am wrong but we have one of the most highly paid municipal staff in Canada and I would expect them to be able to do some very basic projects and take responsibility for them without the need to hire some outside firms to tell them what is right for Whistler.
