I am very excited to have the first few drafts of my piece I commissioned from composer Harrison Boyle for Harp, Strings, and percussion!! Harrison, based in Philadelphia, has written for groups and singers like the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia, Contralto Meredith Arwady, pianist and former Assistant Conductor of the Choral Arts Society Jeffrey Eschleman, and his arrangements and pieces performed by chamber groups and orchestras. I have had the pleasure of working with Harris before with his pieces Songs of Solomon with Soprano Eleanor Macchia and flutist Andrew Foley, and his Mass for the Anniversary of St. St Lukes Church Germantown. Now I have the pleasure of working one on one with him on a piece for me. I told him I want the piece to be brilliant yet disturbing. So we shall see! Im hoping to have the world premiere in 2015! Here is his piece Concerto for Chorus that was commissioned by the Choral Arts Society.
