I am very fortunate to be a Board Chair for Big Brothers Big - TopicsExpress

I am very fortunate to be a Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters Denton County (bbbstx.org) under the great leadership of Executive Director Janemarie Clark. Last night we were able to wrap up a new fundraiser for the benefit of BBBS Denton County with a very special event at Dentons classic Campus Theatre (campustheatre/). The fantastic presentation by two of Texas top photographers - Randy Kerr and Doug Box - was one WOW! moment after another, with stunning images, each that told of a great story. But what took the night to another level was more than the powerful images. It was the passion and dedication of Randy and Doug, and their belief in what BBBS means to so many less fortunate children. Their words were thought provoking and moving to every audience member. Their efforts both onscreen and in their message was phenomenal! We were oh-so-lucky to have Randy come in from Austin and Doug from Caldwell to lend their skills and talents! To wrap up the evening, we also had a very special guest who could speak from his own experience as a Little within the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Father Clint Wilson of St. Davids Episcopal Church in Denton addressed the group for a brief moment at the end, and you could have heard a pin drop, as the audience hung on to his inspirational delivery with every word! What a great way to end the evening! BIG thanks to all of those who made this event a reality, and to those whos attendance, donations, and purchases make it a reality - we can help, one child at a time! Check out Randy and Doug at worldphotographic.org/!
