I am very grateful for all our new customers this year and also for all the old ones. I have always only averaged about 180 likes and now we are up to 971! Only the old customers know that we almost didnt open this year. I even did a Indiego campaign during the late fall and winter to raise money to order my soil and pots and pay the gas bill. I offered gift certificates and other things for donations. My online friends and customers and family came through for me and I will be forever grateful! I sold a lot of gift certificates of different amounts. Someone bought a 100.00 gift certificate and had come in and used part of it and then came in again today and used part of it. She then told Shilo to take the rest of the gift certificate and pay it forward! So that amount was like 50 some dollars. We decided to spread it around a bit. We had an elderly couple get a flat of veggie plants,I handed them back their money and said someone has already paid for it. They said God Bless you. They were a bit confused but John explained it to them. Then another lady had veggies and we told her it was paid for and again we were Blessed. I Say God Bless you to the Lady that first helped me by buying the certificate and then saying to pay it forward. I hope she doesnt mind us picking out people to use it on. There are a lot of people on this side of town that dont have a lot of disposable income. Tomorrow we will use up the rest of it. It is days like this that make all the hard work pay off.
