I am very happy and exceedingly proud to announce the release of The Golden Age of Tin Pan Alley, a 2 CD compilation of recordings by the great Ian Whitcomb, a treasure of Tin Pan Alley. Im happy because this is a wonderful collection of 51 of the best songs from the 1910s, 20s and 30s delivered in Ians inimitable style, some along with the lovely Regina Whitcomb. Im proud because Ian asked me to write the liner notes for the set, and it was my great pleasure to do so. They are contained in a 32-page illustrated booklet which has been described as luxurious.
