I am very happy to announce that the Provincial Government of Samar launched the Cement for Barangay Development Program today, December 21, 2014. The project was designed to provide assistance to our barangays infrastructural needs which is in line with the Provincial Governments aim to aid in the overall development of our barangays. We are aiming to release 50 sacks of cement per barangay before Christmas. We are very thankful to those who helped us expedite the delivery of this project so that our barangays may use the cement for renovation projects after the wake of Typhoon Ruby. The first wave of beneficiaries include: Barangays of the city of Calbayog and barangays of the municipalities of Almagro, Sto.nino, Gandara, San jorge, Tarangnan and Pagsanghan.
