I am very pleased with the steps that the President has decide to take to normalize U.S.-Cuba relations. For more than five decades, the U.S. has had in place a misguided and failed policy that has only hurt and punished the people it claims to help. After years of working and advocating on behalf of a change in US-Cuba relations and the end of the Cuban embargo, I am excited to see US policy towards Cuba take a new direction.
