I am very proud of this book. It is a rare thing for anybody - TopicsExpress

I am very proud of this book. It is a rare thing for anybody who writes to look back on something they made a year ago and not want to fundamentally change everything about it. I still think the title is stupid, very silly and of no true service to whats inside, but I take solace in knowing the content is just the way I wanted it. The 90-Day exercise program, looking back, could perhaps be trimmed up a bit and strengthened by it, and a few of the movements i teach in the book I no longer recommend (the one arm chin up, for example), but the results people have gotten are good and lasting and real. People write me daily to say they have been following the program in the book and are noticing major changes. It makes me smile. If youve gotten this book, followed the program, shared your results and written a review, I thank you deeply. 4.6 stars out of 5 over 113 reviews is not too bad in the wilds of Amazon. Most of the remarks and sparkling and positive. My favorite criticism, however, comes from Dan John: The term paleo is going to really put this book in the wrong light. This is how humans should train and there really isnt a need to wormhole it into the concept of paleo. I am all in favor of paleo, but it is becoming a term that will quickly run into cliche and, worse, culty. Im not clever enough to come up with a title, but this book, I hope, can one day be repacked into something that has a better title. My interns and assistants will all be receiving copies, too, but we have already heard the snickers about the title. So, ignore the title and really enjoy Pats insights into modern training. amzn.to/15KNbRG - = + - Pat
