I am very proud to be a part of the Traverse City Figure Skating Club. In all of the comments both constructive and supportive made over the past six days by skaters, coaches, families, spectators, judges and vendors- we truly know how to host an event. It could not have been accomplished without the amazing planning and commitment by Co- Chairs Laurent and Linda and the Competition Chairs along with each individuals time and talent. It required many tireless hours for a lot of our volunteers at the rink to pull off this event. Not to mention the great facility and staff of Centre ICE for their cooperation and willingness to be flexible with our needs and last minute requests. It takes all of us to make an event successful- we succeeded. Thank you to everyone for your ability to learn, help in any area, changing and extending your shifts when needed. I was able to spend some time in each of the areas needed for this event over and over again I observed every one of you being friendly, helpful and just plain amazing. Skaters and coaches you have continued to keep Traverse City on the map and have made TCFSC history! I cant wait to see what our future holds.
