I am very proud to be part of a very special compilation just released in Norway called "Iranian Woman". This compilation celebrates 13 voices of contemporary Iranian female singers, some who live in exile & some who struggle to keep their voices heard inside the oppressive regime in Iran. Some of my friends & singers whom I personally love are included in this compilation such as Mahsa Vahdat/مهسا وحدت, Marjan Vahdat, Sepideh Raissadat, & Sussan Deyhim. This is truly a special & nostalgic album for me because it shows how we all came from the same country, yet our destinies took us to different places in the world, but in the end, our voices, in their own unique way tell the story of where we came from- making us all connected.
