I am voting this year. I usually dont vote mainly because I refuse to recognize their authority basically my anarchist principles at work here. By voting you are engaging in the futile exercise of choosing your master. That does not make you any less the slave. You have to understand that voting is definitely, 100%, NEVER EVER going to change the world for a holistic better, and if you think it is going to do so then I highly suggest studying up on Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union not to mention the United States. Instead of voting for change I work very hard in favor of things that I believe in: love, peace, nature, etc. I try to harbor these things within me. These things have nothing to do with voting. The only thing that changes this world for the better is the awakening of the individual to his or her own agency in life. This year I am voting for a two main reasons. The most important being Florida Amendment Two. It is not perfect by a long shot, hell it’s not really even very good but it is a step in the right direction, all journeys begin with a single step. I am voting against everything else, mainly because I do not trust the state to do anything. If the state wants to preserve your fresh water, then considering their historical incompetence will likely mean we will have none of it and if we do it will be so expensive only the rich and the political class will be able to afford it. The last reason is I want to give the finger to the D and R political classes. I will send them a message that cannot be misinterpreted. I will cast a vote for Adrian Wyllie for Governor and Bill Wohlsifer or Attorney General . Given the general level of ignorance from the electorate and the Diebold voting machines down south I doubt either will win but every vote for them is a mote in the eye of the political establishment. Nothing says “enough is enough” more than a vote for the 3rd party. You cannot explain that vote away with any of their traditions BS. Those are the reasons why I am voting. The rest of my family and most of my friends, after years of inculcation from me, will be voting along similar lines. Long live the revolution
