I am waiting for dads doctor to phone me after his morning clinic. I`m so scared I don`t know what will happen he has water infection so it does make you strange my dad not the doctor. I rang the doctor and spoke to his secretary . I live in Wallsend and dad lives in Whitley Bay . Robert is out helping friends so I am alone. last night dad rang me every five minutes saying the same thing then at 5 am he rang and said he had been awake for ages and was going to the bank later. he rang again about 8 am and said he had been out and had gone along the sea front because every where was closed and nobody was about he said a lady said to him what are you doing out at this time of day. I said nowhere opens till 9 and people would be asleep. he says he doesn`t know where his tablets are so has not taken antibiotics. He keeps ringing now and saying I was talking to you in my house you were sitting on the settee and you didn`t answer. I told him I was in Wallsend in my house. he just puts the phone down and wanders off then rings again and says the same things . I hope to get to go down to see him I don`t know what the doctor will say I don`t know anything . This is so so sad. I feel better typing it out . Dad lives on a main road and he had the front door open . This has come on so suddenly . I know many of my friends will have been through this I say again my last job before retiring was support worker for dementia care. why can`t I be strong now
