I am wanting to know teachers/students opinions on the masterclass held? I was excited to do another master class after spending a week in Australia at the Australian tap festival doing full time master classes with some incredible tutors such as Jessie sawyers, Derick Grant, Glenn wood etc but when we started off our nz nationals class with a variety of slides and then moved on to a unprepaired routine that as he says him self im making this up on the spot expecting us to be impressed? We learnt the routine which may i point out he did not try with the music, so the dance did not fit and he changed it without telling us and expected us to notice the changes. We got split into completly random groups which he had a clip bord and looked thru the numbers hmmm, i have been also told by a few other competitors that there group was not even watched!! We got to perform the routine twice altogeather which i think is a unfair amount of time to get it to a point where you can perform it.
