I am wondering what everyone thinks about the Humane Societys new - TopicsExpress

I am wondering what everyone thinks about the Humane Societys new intake process where the person has to make an appointment and spend 30 minutes giving information about the animal. I believe it is going to lead to people just dumping their animals off in neighborhoods because are not going to want to make an appointment in the first place, then they are not going to want to sit there for 30 minutes giving info on the animal. I believe it IS the right thing to do but most people who are dropping off the animals are not committed to the animal in the first place. I fear we will see more cats in particular dropped off in neighborhoods. Thoughts?
