I am working on a project and trying to plane down some corners on some small stock. The Project I am doing is a prototype.....which means I am trying to figure out how to do it, then correct my mistakes on the next one.......Anyway as the stock was too small to do this in my Leg vice I had the idea to make....well...more or less a Pin vise using my existing vise.....this elevated my work and I Chamfered the edges of the pin vise, so I could Chamfer the edges of the pieces I was wanting to work on........anyway I thought it worked really well and was one of those Light bulb moments and thought I would pass it on.......its simple, quick and most importantly....it actually worked...;-) Here are some pictures.....
