I am worried about my friends and their friends. Those of you who read my feed on the terrible issues of the Asylum Seekers from Sudan and Eritrea, know of my concern that on Monday the police in Israel planned a round up of over 1,000 refugees to arrest them (not for any crime), but to herd them into the huge prison that was built in the south desert. On my lst night in Tel-Aviv David and Nagmaldeen spoke of the anguish and fear they and their brothers were living in...no place to turn, nobody seeing or hearing what was happening to them. I have not been able to reach them by phone or by email, I fear they too have been arrested. Now I am at a lose and very much inadequate.
